The Nerlich Mafia - Is that a Polka I hear in the distance?
By no strategical doing of my own, I was pleasantly surprised when my mom and I took the train into Frankfurt to find that we were the at the same time the beginning ceremonies were taking place for the World Cup Soccer Tourny for 2006! It was a lot of fun to walk around the city and experience the excitement with visitors from other countries. I must say, we came across a group of Brits diving into their pints shamlessly... as they are well known for... HA ... kind of just kidding... any way, these guys were hella crazy and fun to watch... my mom made sure to stand close by to get in on all the beer they were splashing around.... ach mamma... you can take the German out of Germany but you can't take Deutchland out of the German!
